At City Champions, we use FIFA-approved 3rd generation artificial turf with 50-60mm pile height and specialized performance infill. Our turf features monofilament fibers that provide natural ball roll and bounce characteristics while offering excellent foot stability and reducing injury risk. The shock-absorbing underlayer protects joints during intense play and sliding tackles.
We recommend players bring their own football boots for comfort and hygiene reasons. Our turf performs best with firm ground (FG) or artificial ground (AG) boots. Metal studs are strictly prohibited as they damage the playing surface. For occasional players without proper footwear, we do offer a limited selection of quality turf shoes for rental in common sizes at a nominal fee.
Absolutely! We host regular "Players Wanted" sessions three times weekly where individuals can join pickup games. These sessions are organized by skill level and age groups. Additionally, our City Champions app has a team finder feature where you can register as a free agent, and team captains looking for additional players can contact you directly.
